Advocacy
Advocacy

Your Chamber provides advocacy at the municipal, provincial and federal level on issues that affect members and the local business community, drawing on the support and advice of the highly-respected Ontario and Canadian Chambers of Commerce.

In collaboration with the County of Brant, your Chamber of Commerce is working to advocate for better internet throughout the County, particularly in rural areas.  County Council has approved the Chamber's proposal to create a joint Broadband Task Force called "Brant Connects" to develop a Broadband Strategy/Action Plan, to provide a road map for delivery of faster, more reliable and affordable internet, including identifying priority projects. Check this webpage for more information. If you have any comments or experiences with your internet service you want to share, contact Pamela DeVries at pldevries@rogers.com or Dave Cash at cashdjd@gmail.com.
